Beta of RealWorld Cursor Editor 2009.1 is here

Beta, final, beta, final, beta. It is getting boring. Now is beta time.

What to expect

Version 2009.1 will be the third version of the RealWorld Cursor Editor and there are some previously unseen features. Here are the major ones:

  • Layers, selections, drawing tools, image filters - they work just like in Paint.COM.
  • .cur vs .ani - the editor will look the same no matter what kind of cursor you are working with. Conversion between .cur, .ani and the new .rcu (cursor with layers) is as simple as using the “Save as…” command.
  • 3D tools removed - since too few people were using them, they will not be present in the cursor editor anymore. Another solution for cursor authors wishing to use 3D models will be available later.
  • Built-in tutorials removed - there will be some more tutorial videos instead.
  • Numerous smaller updates from other RealWorld applications like translations, thumbnails for recent files, color swatches panel, etc.

I could not reach you on the given email address - I am getting automated replays that it does not exist.

Hey think you can send me a beta application? I would love to review the app for my site http://www.cursors-4u.com/ There’s only two active programs that I know of, yours and axialis. The rest seem to be outdated then again cursors aren’t really the “in” thing so it’s understandable.

After I review it I can blog about on my home page. I know some users are looking for a place to upload their cursors and don’t know about your site. Even though you got like 10k+ plus cursors.
